B.P. Christian loves wiener dogs and hates running, which probably explains why he spent years living in an RV, chasing America like a fever dream. A rambler by nature, he files dispatches from the neon underworld of truck stops, bad diners, and midnight carnival rides that spin until the bolts scream. He’s eaten eggs that tasted like chemical warfare, watched motel wallpaper breathe, and listened to prophets disguised as gas station clerks mutter the secrets of the universe between Marlboro drags. He swears the country runs not on oil or politics but on caffeine, paranoia, and mass delusion—an endless hallucination stitched together with static and fluorescent light. He writes like a man swerving through a thunderstorm with bald tires, ghosts in the rearview, and laughter in his throat. And even now, past the madness and the miles, he still swears he can smell the sweet jasmine rising off a Georgia night.
